This class is a great class for people who need to brush up on their marksmanship skills as well as for those who have never shot a pistol before. We begin in the classroom with the parts of pistols, ammunition, and basic marksmanship skills. We use blue plastic guns to teach proper grip. After learning the proper shooting stance, we move to lasers in the guns to teach proper sight alignment, sight picture, and trigger depression. Finally, we move to the range where we bring everything we learned in class together and we use live ammuniton to shoot the NRA pistol qualification. There is a a lot to learn, and we do many hands on activities to make sure our students are comfortable with pistols and revolvers. Class is $140.00 with the CWC discount including a .22 target pistol and ammuniton to shoot the NRA qualifier.  This price also includes the one on one Gear Up help to make sure you have the proper equipment for the Defensive Pistol Class.
