This class is a great class for people who need to brush up on their marksmanship skills as well as for those who have never shot a pistol before. We begin in the classroom with the parts of pistols, ammunition, and basic marksmanship skills. We use blue plastic guns to teach proper grip. After learning the proper shooting stance, we move to lasers in the guns to teach proper sight alignment, sight picture, and trigger depression. Finally, we move to the range where we bring everything we learned in class together and we use live ammuniton to shoot the NRA pistol qualification. There is a a lot to learn, and we do many hands on activities to make sure our students are comfortable with pistols and revolvers. Class is $120.00 per person and $105 for a couple or returning student discount including a .22 target pistol and ammuniton to shoot the NRA qualifier. Bring your own pistol and ammuniation and we will work with you after we shoot the qualifier. Pay the deposit below.
