This class is the first level of a three level program to teach you empty hand self defense skills.  The class begins with a short power point on some of the elements of defending yourself, and then moves to actual hands on training. The class is taught by our empty hand instructor, Sal Buzzurro (visit the instructors tab to see Sal's credentials). Class size is between 4 and 6 students so that each student gets individualized attention. 

By the end of the class, you will be able to:

1. Properly strike a target using elbows, knees, fists, and an open hand.

2. Properly block a blow. 

3. Properly get out out of a choke hold from the front as well as behind. 

4. Understand the importance of situational awareness.

THE CLASS INCLUDES A PROFESSIONAL VIDEO OF ALL OF THE CONTENT TAUGHT IN CLASS SO YOU CAN CONTINUE TO PRACTICE AT HOME.

**The deposit is refundable or transferrable as long as you cancel with 72 hours notice. If you cancel within the 72 hours, we can transfer you to another date one time. If you fail to show up the day of class or are more than 20 minutes late, barring SERIOUS illness, you will lose your deposit.
