About the Event
This class teaches the basics of rifle. It is perfect for the student who has never shot a rifle before or for someone who is wanting to brush up on their rifle skills. We teach how to sight it in, the basics functions, and the basics of the different action types.
We will shoot the NRA Qualifier with our rifles using a .22 insert. The cost of the ammunition to shoot this portion of the class is included in the price of the class. You may bring your own rifle to shoot after we are done with the NRA shooting portion. You will need to provide your own .556 or .223 (NO PENETRATORS -GREEN TIPS OR TRACERS-RED TIPS). If you do not have your own rifle and you want to try the .556, we will sell the ammunition in 5 round increments.
