Chief Range Safety Officer is a step above RSO. This gives you the ability to train and supervise RSO's and provide the essential information required to develop Range Standard Operating Procedures. Sessions include standard operating procedures, inspections, emergency procedures, firearm stoppages and malfunctions, safety briefings. Students must demonstrate organizational and teaching skills via participation in practical exercises and complete an open book exam. Once the course is completed the RSO will be upgraded to a NRA Chief Range Safety Officer.

The cost of the class is $325.00 with a $100.00 deposit due at registration. If you have to take BIT, it is an additional $75.00 The RSO student class is $170.00  YOU MUST HAVE RSO AND BIT IN ORDER TO TAKE CRSO. Class size is limited to 8 people.
