This class will meet or exceed all NRA requirements for Range Safety Officers. The goal of this course is to develop NRA Certified Range Safety Officers (RSO's) who possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations. 

At the end of this course, you will be able to:
1. Define the role of the RSO.
2. Understand the purpose of the range Standard Operating Procedure. 
3. Inspect a range prior to live fire. 
4. Conduct a range safety briefing. 
5. Understand the definition of emergency procedures and carry them out at a range. 
6. Safely unload guns and correct stoppages and malfunctions on many types of firearms.  
7. Supervise all range shooting activities.
